Ingredients


  • 4 bags - Miracle Noodles
  • 1 Bag - Seafood Blend (from Trader Joe's) - Shrimp, Scallops and Calamari
  • 5 Cups - Broccoli Florets
  • 1 Cup - Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup - Chopped Basil
  • 8 Tablespoons - Capers
  • 1 - Lemon
  • Garlic Powder (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

Ingredients Notes

You can substitute other lean protein sources in place of seafood.

HCG Diet:
100 grams (3.5oz) of a LEAN PROTEIN SOURCE = veal, beef, chicken breast, turkey breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, shrimp, 1 egg+3 egg whites, or tofu. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird prior to cooking.

Vegans:
Remove or replace seafood with appropriate protein source (tofu, etc.).

Preparation


  • Strain noodles and stir-fry them on a non-stick pan until they are a little browned. (As desired). You can add salt & garlic powder to help carry the flavor throughout, if desired. 
  • Lightly steam broccoli.
  • In separate pan, stir-fry seafood blend for 2-3 minutes, until scallops and shrimp are opaque and calamari are firm.
  • Chop tomatoes and basil and add to seafood blend.
  • Season as desired.
  • Toss noodles with seafood blend, broccoli, capers.
  • Squeeze lemon and season to taste. 
  • Plate & Serve.
